Policy & Regulations

We are happy to welcome you to our club and delighted at an opportunity to work with your children. We have implemented several Policies and Procedures to assure that the training goes smoothly and your child is happy.

General Policies:

  • A child cannot be on the carpet until the parent fills out our registration form. The form includes a liability waiver that is essential to our business.
  • Our dress code: Black cotton top and shorts, worm up Leggins and white socks. Gymnasts must pull their hair off their face into a short ponytail or a bun. No jewelry allowed, except small stud earrings. We allow gymnasts to wear warm jackets for warm-up time only.
  • Students waiting for a class should remain in the waiting area until called into the gym by a coach. Our rules also forbid gum, food, or drinks on the carpet.
  • Only gymnasts may enter the gym. No parents, grandparents or siblings, please. We provide ample sitting area for parents to wait for the children. The coach will inform the parent if a behavioral situation requires your attention.
  • We ask parents not to call coaches during practice time.  Coaches are working with your children and will not  answer their phones. Coaches usually come out to the common area after each class and will answer your questions.  If you need to pick up your child early, please let the office know at the time of drop-off.
  • Tuition payment is due on 1st of each month. A late fee of $25 is also due if the payment is not received by the 7th of the month.
  • Tuition fees are not refundable. Missed classes due to illness, vacation, or for any other reason are not credited. Make up classes are also available to all students.

Competition Team Polices:

  • Placement on the competition team is by invitation from the coach only. Skill level and age determine level placement.
  • Levels 3, 4 and 5 gymnasts must attend classes 3 times a week, and take ballet classes. Gymnasts must meet our requirements to compete.
  • All gymnasts level 6 and up must attend practice 4 or more times a week, and take ballet classes. Gymnasts must meet our requirements to compete.
  • All competition team members must be respectful of coaches at all times. They also must be willing to accept and follow a coach’s corrections.
  • All team members must be respectful and supportive of their teammates.
  • Team members must have their own set of equipment and toe-shoes. Gymnasts should also have everything available at every practice.
  • Routines for level 7 and up are individual for each gymnast. The coaches choreograph these routines during private lessons. It is the responsibility of the parents to schedule private lessons. Parents should schedule private lessons in mid summer/early fall (July through September).
  • We are choreograph group  Routines for levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 are shared by all gymnast in each level.  .
  • Private lessons are available with all coaches.  Individual private lessons and group private more that 2 gymnasts you need to schedule directly with the Head of coach
  • All parents are responsible for renewing annual membership to USA Gymnastics. Your child must have a current membership to compete. (No exceptions!)
  • The gymnast must follow USAG rules for competition. A gymnast may not proceed to State Competition unless they attend two invitational competitions. A gymnast may not compete in Regionals unless they compete in State Competition.
  • Levels 3, 4 and 5 can compete in local competitions only, but may have to go out of town for State, Regionals and Nationals.
  • Level 6 and up gymnasts will attend local and some of the out-of-town and out-of-state competitions. National Qualifier, Nationals and Junior Olympics are usually held on East Coast.
  • Gymnasts must complete the season and compete at State and Regionals to advance to the next level.
  • The registration fee for any competition is the responsibility of the parents. Registration fees are payable to IRG ,  Parents must pay at the time of official notice. This notice is usually given 1 months in advance.
  • Parents are responsible for the coaches competition fees and travel expenses, which includes transportation , food and lodging.  Coaches competition fees and travel expenses are due when child signs up for the competition.    Local competition fee per each gymnasts $30 for one day per each gymnast . Any not local Competitions and Open Championships, Nationals and National Qualifier are exception.  Coaches fees and expenses are divided equally among attending gymnasts. Coaches competition fees and travel expenses are not refundable.
  • Gymnasts must attend all practices two weeks before competition.
  • Schedules and rotations for each competition are available few days before the competition. We will post them as soon as they become available.
  • Gymnasts should arrive at the competition 2,5 hours before the start of their level. Gymnast’s hair must be in a bun, and make-up done. Gymnast’s must dress in black shorts, club t-shirt and warm-ups. Gymnasts should have all equipment, toe shoes and leotards with them. Gymnasts in Levels 3 and 4 must wear the same leotard for all three routines. Levels 5 and 6 may wear two leotards, and level 7 and up may wear four.
  • On arrival, gymnasts should immediately go to the warm up area and find their coach. The warm up area is only for gymnasts and coaches. All parents must find seating in the common area.
  • Parents can not approach other coaches or judges for any reason. If a parent approaches a judge, the gymnast will be immediately disqualified. So, if you have an emergency or a problem, please text or call your coach and let them know.
  • We recognize the commitment required for competition team. Because competition team is time consuming not only for gymnasts, but also for parents. It is also a financial obligation and requires a certain level of commitment. We urge parents to weigh all pros and cons; we will support you in any decision you make.
